ACLS Certification Resources
- See below for options based on your current situation:
- If you have an active ACLS certification that is expiring soon, you may attend an American Heart Association ACLS Update Course
- Global Medical Response Learning
- Heart Start CPR
- In-person
- Hybrid (virtual learning 4-5hrs; in-person practical <1hr)
- ACLS Heartcode
- Hybrid (virtual learning 2-4hrs; in-person skills test 1hr)
- If you have an expired ACLS certification, you will need to attend an American Heart Association ACLS Initial Certification Course
- Heart Start CPR
- In-person
- Hybrid (virtual learning 4-5hrs; in-person practical <1hr)
- ACLS Heartcode

- The above are only suggestions as they seem the most streamlined approach. Please feel free to find your own ACLS certification class alternatives, but make sure they are certified by the American Heart Association and provide you with the certificate afterwards.
- Copies of the ACLS Handbook will be available at both facilities to check-out. Please make sure to return them to Luz or Viola upon completion of your course.
- Upon completion, please forward copy/picture of certificate to Sean/Viola.
- Remember:
- Fees are reimbursable
- Classes qualify for Ed Leave use
- Classes count as CME for your licensure
